Amesto is an Eco-Light House

Amesto is an Eco-Lighthouse.

The Eco-Lighthouse is the first national scheme in Europe to be recognised by the EU. It is proof that the scheme maintains high environmental standards and quality in line with international labelling schemes (EMAS and ISO 14001). We want our employees at Amesto to be proud to work for a company that is future-oriented and conscious of its environmental and social responsibilities. We want our customers to know that we are committed to the environment at work. We are in no doubt. Sustainability pays off.

We are proud to be contributing to a better environment on an individual level, a business level and, not least, from a national and global perspective. Our CEO Arild Spandow wrote the following in a post for Kapital: - Sound environmental solutions require unpopular decisions that few politicians are willing to make. Therefore, we each have a personal responsibility. Business leaders have a particular responsibility, and opportunity, to contribute to putting environmental awareness on the agenda.

A part of UN Global Compact

We are part of the UN Global Compact and have promised to work towards improvement within 10 principles regarding human rights, labour rights, the environment and corruption. More and more companies and municipalities expect us to think and work in accordance with environmental requirements.

OUR VISION WITH AMESTO AS AN ECO-LIGHTHOUSE:

We want our employees at Amesto to be proud to work for a company that is future-oriented and conscious of its environmental and social responsibilities. We will ensure that our customers promote Amesto as a pioneering partner due to our focus. Employees and providers should be proud that they are contributing to Amesto achieving its environmental and corporate social responsibility goals.
