Know your emissions before your customers, lenders or clients ask.
Carbon accounting is fast becoming a standard business requirement. Customers ask for it in tenders, banks factor it into lending decisions, and regulatory requirements are tightening across Europe. Starting now means you have baseline data when the pressure arrives — and you have time to act on it.

Scope 1, 2 and 3 measurement
Direct emissions from your own operations, indirect emissions from purchased energy, and the full value chain footprint — all measured in CO₂ equivalents following the GHG Protocol standard.
GHG-compliant reporting
A documented climate account you can share with clients, lenders and authorities — prepared to GHG Protocol standards, with methodology notes and data sources that withstand external review.
From measurement to action
The climate account shows where your biggest emissions sit. We help you interpret the numbers and identify the highest-impact actions in your own operations and supply chain.

Frequently asked questions
A carbon account is a full, documented measurement of your company's greenhouse gas emissions across all three scopes — prepared in line with the GHG Protocol standard, with methodology notes and data sources. A calculator gives you a rough estimate. A carbon account is what you need when clients ask for documentation, lenders require sustainability reporting, or you are preparing for CSRD compliance.
Scope 1 covers direct emissions from your own operations — fuel combustion in company vehicles, heating of premises, on-site industrial processes. Scope 2 covers indirect emissions from purchased energy, primarily electricity and district heating. Scope 3 covers all other indirect emissions in your value chain — business travel, purchased goods and services, employee commuting, waste, and the use and end-of-life of your products. Scope 3 is typically the largest category and the hardest to measure.
Yes. CSRD requires climate disclosures under the ESRS E1 standard, which includes Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions data. If you fall under CSRD, a carbon account is not optional — it is a required input for your sustainability report. Starting the carbon account now means you have baseline data and a methodology in place before reporting obligations kick in.
Most of the data needed for a cost-based carbon account is already in your accounting system — energy costs, fuel purchases, travel expenses, procurement. We extract and map this data to emission factors, producing a Scope 1, 2 and 3 account without requiring a separate data collection process. As your reporting matures, we can layer in activity-based data for greater accuracy in the categories that matter most to your specific emissions profile.
Amesto Footprint is our digital sustainability platform — it handles data collection from your accounting system, emissions calculation, and report generation. It is backed by our sustainability advisors, who guide you through the methodology, review the output, and help you understand what the numbers mean for your business. You get both the tool and the expertise in one service.
