Amesto as a provider of cloud services also mean that we use a range of sub contractors to deliver the services.  Hence we have certain transparency obligations, as well as making sure that sufficient data processing agreements are in place. We are doing this to ensure privacy and trust throughout the chain of companies involved in processing our customers data. Amesto’s business is based on earning this trust from our customers.

Our main effort is to be sure that we are compliant as a Processor with regards to:

  • Making Privacy Impact Assessments for all products/services designed to process sensitive personal data.
  • Preparing for increased transparency regarding use of subcontractors and security breach incidents that may occur.
  • Ensuring that agreements with our subcontractors and partners commits to GDPR preparations and compliance

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to all companies processing and holding the personal data of data subjects residing in the European Union. Amesto is no exception and have a clear strategy to be compliant within the regulation enforced May 25th, 2018.

Information Security Management System

Amesto is implementing “Secure ISMS”, an information security management system, to achieve compliance with security standards and regulations. Understanding privacy-relevant data and data processing are important and, Amesto - as a large organisation - need to have insight into all aspects to be a trusted partner to customers and vendors.
